What is Self-Love?

Self-love is used to describe the way of caring for yourself and to find yourself worthy of trust, admiration, and care & appreciate yourself.

What is Misinterpreted Self-love?

This word is for valuing yourself and admiring yourself by accepting your flaws, for your own well-being and treating yourself with kindness, prioritising your own happiness and needs is misinterpreted Self-love definition. This will distant you from the people you love, actual self-love is caring for people around you and being with them in every moment, celebrating the gains and handling the losses together.

If you understand that only people who tell you about your flaws and help you go through it are the people who love you. Running away from them is not self-love but taking their help to grow is.

Your become weak, the day you think you are good enough the way you are.

  1. Your parent put you in school to study to help you learn and grow.
  2. You take bath, get haircut, do skin care, and many more to feel good.
  3. You wear cloth, buy new clothes, shoes, wear trendy clothes to keep yourself updated with society and people around you.
  4. People do workouts, yoga, running, swimming and many more physical activities to stay fit.

There are many things’ you are doing on daily basis to get better, get recognised, feel better on every aspect. But nobody gets these on their own, you have your parents who supported you to become you.

Love yourself it is important but understand and working on any flaw you have is also important.

A person with obesity claims that he is better even with obesity. A malnourished person says he is better even with all the deficiency. These examples are not of self-love but ignorant behaviors of people who don’t want to become better and healthy for the sake of themselves and for their loved ones.
